Let’s celebrate Mandela Day on 18 July!

Mandela Day

“Take Action; Inspire Change; Make Every Day a Mandela Day.”

The objective of Mandela Day is to inspire individuals to take action to help change the world for the better, and in doing so build a global movement for good. Ultimately it seeks to empower communities everywhere.

The Mandela Day campaign message is simple: Mr Mandela gave 67 years of his life fighting for the rights of humanity. The campaign asks everyone to give 67 minutes of their time, whether it’s supporting their chosen charity or serving their local community.

Let’s take responsibility for changing the world into a better place, one small step at a time…

What a great success! Thank you Friends!

Thank you!

The Food4Africa Ubuntu Ball was a quite extraordinary night! And a huge success.

The spirit of ubuntu was very much alive and through the amazing generosity of our friends we raised an astonishing £12,000 .
There is no doubt that ‘Food4Africa is what it is because of who you all are’.

Thank you to everyone for playing such a vital role in helping us to continue to feed the children you see in our pictures.

BIG thank you from 17,000 very grateful, smiling little people!

Thank you to everyone who supported ‘Girls’ Night In’

The annual ‘Girls’ Night In’ last night at Liz’s place was simply amazing.

Thanks to the wonderful generosity of everyone who supported the night, we raised £767. This means we can feed 384 orphaned children for a month.

Take a look at F4A Thank you! Girls’ Night In 2009 to see how the food will be distributed.

Many thanks to the ladies from Clarins at John Lewis who looked after us so well and made it a special night to remember.

And BIG thanks as always Liz for making the event happen … we are looking forward to next year already!
